Blending his love of wine and sci-fi, the owner packed more technology into an impressively stocked, custom-built wine cellar than any other area of the house. The automated magic starts at the entrance to the wine cellar. Using Control4’s downloadable control app, the owner taps an icon on his iPad to change the opacity of the room’s glass walls from frosted to translucent, and disengage the electronic door lock.
