Control4 Expands Global Sales Team

New organizational structure and additional resources provide unmatched support to Control4 Dealers, helping to drive growth.

Salt Lake City, UT – October 7, 2014 at 10:00am EST – Control4 (NASDAQ: CTRL), a leader in residential and commercial automation systems, announced today that it has increased its global sales team by nearly 20% over the past year in response to tremendous momentum within the automation industry and Control4. New opportunities for growth have resulted in Control4’s expanding sales team as the company adds to its management ranks, while enhancing communication and touch points amongst sales directors, sales managers and most importantly dealers.
 
Control4 appointed two additional Regional Sales Managers: Kim Parker, an 18-year industry veteran most recently at Savant Systems, to serve as the Director of Sales West. Larry Bennett, an industry veteran with over 9-years at Control4 was promoted to Director of Sales – East.  Kevin Garretson and Ernie Coulter continue in their roles as Director of Sales – Central and South respectively. “With 4 Directors and 25 Sales Managers covering North America, our commitment to our Dealers is unmatched in the industry” said Jim Arnold, Senior VP – Sales.
 
In addition Robert Kidd joined Control4 as Managing Director – Sales for Asia Pacific. With over 20 years of professional experience, including significant time living in China and Singapore, Robert brings vast experience in the AsiaPac market. Troy Holtby continues to manage EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) along with Latin America in his position as Managing Director – Sales for those markets. He has guided Control4 international growth for the past 7 years.

Control4 has also expanded its global Technical Field Manager team to help provide in-field support for new dealers or dealers who have complex projects that require some additional support. Control4 now offers a global TFM team of 15, under the leadership of Marc Whitman. This team is an invaluable asset to Control4 Dealers and the organization.
