Control4 system enables powerful technology in new Ritz-Carlton luxury residences on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile.

Salt Lake City, UT – August 22, 2012 – Control4, a leading innovator in residential and light commercial automation systems, offers the platform for a unique multi-dwelling unit (MDU) third-party technology application called InteliPlex, now available in high-tech home and building automation solutions at The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Chicago. This powerful solution will enhance the luxury lifestyle owners enjoy while also improving efficiencies for building management.

The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Chicago, Magnificent Mile is the latest addition to the Ritz-Carlton portfolio of private residence properties. The development features 89 luxury condominiums, a lifestyle of modern luxury and amenities, a private art collection, and the latest in building technology and design. Each high-tech residence features a Control4® 7" Touch Screen equipped with the Integrisys InteliPlex™ portal which enables residents to access the building's services and amenities through a simple one-touch command.

Owners can request valet services, check the weather and top news headlines, reserve club services, and access messages that range from building bulletins and notes about package deliveries to maintenance requests. The InteliPlex portal will connect residents with as many as 12 full-time staff members, as well as the residence's private Landmark Club. Owners also have the option to enable personalized whole-home control through the Control4® system to enable control over lights, entertainment, energy management, temperature, security systems and more.

Although the Control4 platform has long been a popular automation solution for luxury condo owners who crave control, this is the first time the Control4 system is delivering personalized smart-home control to individual residences while also serving as a platform for condominium management. Integrisys, a multi-disciplinary design/build technology firm, developed InteliPlex to run off the Control4 platform understanding that the integration of technology for building management and homeowner would be a powerful tool that also provides a unique and impressive experience.
