Green Wave Technology, LLC Selected As Developer Of The Year
Leading home automation company Control4 selects Green Wave Technology as Developer of the Year
Kennesaw, GA. - - - September 25, 2010 - - - Green Wave Technology, LLC a Kennesaw, Georgia based home automation sales company announced today that it has been selected as Developer of the Year by Control4. Control4, a leader in affordable IP-based home control systems, made the announcement today at CEDIA in Atlanta, GA.
Green Wave Technology developed an application for the Control4® 4Store called Web Radio. Web Radio allows the home owner to listen to internet based radio stations using the home control system.
“Web Radio is a killer app!” said Ross Livingston, Senior Product Manager at Control4. “When we developed the 4Store, it was with apps like Web Radio in mind. There have been many interesting apps written for 4Store but control apps like Web Radio are the most interesting because they take advantage of the Control4 platform. We look forward to more great offerings from Green Wave Technology.”
Web Radio is the brain child of Green Wave Technology’s Vice President Doug Alexander. “After we attended training for the Control4 Developer Program we had a lot of ideas for Control4 apps,” said Sharon Perry Alexander, President of Green Wave Technology. “Doug thought that the concept of Web Radio was timely and achievable. Writing applications that are as robust as Web Radio has been challenging. We spent 3 months dedicated to the development of Web Radio. The fact that is has been so well received and garnered such a high level of praise from Control4 makes it all worth while.”
Web Radio is being featured at the Control4 Booth # 1836 at CEDIA, thru Sunday Sept 26, 2010 at the World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA.
