Control4 Launches Low-Cost Hospitality Suite Controller

Sleek and Compact SC-200 Enables Personalized Guest Experience Through In-Room Control

NEW YORK, NY – November 10, 2008 – Control4, the leader in affordable IP-based home control and entertainment systems, today announced the Control4® Suite Controller SC-200, a compact and affordable in-room controller, unveiled at the 2008 International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show (booth #3142). The SC-200 expands Control4’s already comprehensive suite of automation solutions for hospitality.

The SC-200 is small and sleek, yet powerful enough to control the in-room television, video-on-demand, music, smart lighting, temperature, and concierge and security systems. The new controller is very affordable, allowing properties to automate every guestroom. Guests will enjoy a more personalized hotel experience while at the same time reducing energy waste and creating competitive market advantages.

The control and compatibility is achieved in part by the SC- 200 leveraging standards-based communication technology including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and ZigBee® mesh networking.

• Ships with Control4® Remote (SRH-150 RF) and controls AV equipment, HVAC lighting and many other systems in the guest room without line-of sight issues
• On-screen HD-enhanced Control4 graphic interface
• Audio outputs for streaming audio from a digital music collection to a TV or AV receiver
• Standard Ethernet, Wi-Fi and ZigBee communications
• USB port for external storage or Wi-Fi network adapter
• Controls a wide range of devices through serial, IR, IP and ZigBee control
• Audio input for any audio source, including iPod® or other MP3 players
• Sleek design enables versatile mounting and easy installation (extremely small form factor allows flexible placement behind flat panel displays)
