Control4 Announces the Appointment of Glen Mella as Chief Marketing Officer
Experienced Technology and Consumer Products Executive to Lead Marketing and Sales of Products that Enable Automation in Any Home
Salt Lake City, UT – November 8, 2004 - Control4, a leading home automation company, today announced the appointment of Glen Mella as Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. Mella will direct the Company’s marketing and sales efforts, following Control4’s recent introduction of a full line of automation products that bring the convenience and benefits of innovation to any home, regardless of age or price range.

In September, Control4 introduced a unique portfolio of wired and wireless IP-based products that enable home automation. The products can be retrofitted into any home, are significantly less expensive than current solutions and allow consumers to incrementally upgrade their systems.

Prior to joining Contro4, Mr. Mella was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Triton PCS, a leading provider of digital wireless phone service in the Southeast. Previously, he served as President and CEO of Found Inc., which was acquired by CRS Retail Systems, a leading provider of point-of-sale multi-channel software. He also held executive positions with TenFold Corporation, Novell and WordPerfect Corporation. In addition, Mr. Mella has held product management positions with Dial Corporation and Frito-Lay, Inc.
