Controller
Think of the controller as the “brain” of your Control4 Smart Home. All of your devices, products, and software communicate through the controller to activate one—or even twenty!—actions that happen simultaneously when triggered by a set command, such as a voice command, a double tap on a keypad, or at a certain time of day. And hard-working home automation hub, that’s discrete and easily hidden away, comes with the SR-260 remote control, which puts the power right in the palm of your hand.

Tied into your system, security cameras are easily accessed via a smartphone, touch screen, or even through the TV so you can check in on the happenings at the house the most convenient way no matter where you are. A smart door lock allows you to use a code to enter a house. A smart door lock as part of your Control4 system means that when a code is used to unlock a door, you can receive a notification right to your phone. And for the forgetful, a smart lock can activate at a scheduled time each day. Tied in with a keypad, one tap on a button could tell your locks to engage in 30 seconds, giving you plenty of time to tap, gather your things, and head out the door.
