Wi-Fi setup

You can connect the Lynk to Wi-Fi using the following methods:

Wi-Fi setup using Apple’s Wireless Accessory Configuration (WAC)

Step 1: On an iOS device, go to Settings > Wi-Fi and select Set Up New AirPlay Speaker.

 

Step 2: An AirPlay Setup screen should appear. When it does, select the Episode Lynk speaker, then tap Next.

 

Step 3: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

 

Wi-Fi setup using the Google Home App on iOS

Step 1: Open the Google Home App and select Set up EA-300-LYNK or Set up X devices. This differs based on the screen size of the iOS device.

 

Step 2: Select a home to assign the Lynk to.

 

Step 3: The app looks for the device(s). Once found, select the EA-300-LYNK device and tap Next.

 

Step 4: Once connected, Google Home plays a sound from the device the Lynk is connected to. If you heard it, tap Yes.If you did not hear the sound, verify the connected device is turned on and the volume is up. Then tap Try Again.

 

Step 5: Select whether you’d like to share diagnostic data, then select the location where the Lynk is installed.

 

Step 6: Select the Wi-Fi network that you’d like the Lynk to connect to, then tap Next.

 

Once connected, Google Home informs you that your Google Account is being used with the Lynk. Tap Continue for a tutorial on using Chromecast to complete the setup.

 

Wi-Fi setup using the Google Home App on Android

Step 1: Open the Google Home App and select Set up EA-300-LYNK or Set up X devices. This differs based on the screen size of the device.

 

Step 2: The app looks for the device(s). Once found, select the EA-300-LYNK device and tap Next.

 

Step 3: Once connected, Google Home plays a sound from the device the Lynk is connected to. If you heard it, tap Yes. If you did not hear the sound, verify the connected device is turned on and the volume is up. Then tap Try Again.

 

Step 4: Select whether you’d like to share diagnostic data, then select the location where the Lynk is installed.

 

Step 5: Select the Wi-Fi network that you’d like the Lynk to connect to, then tap Next.

 

Once connected, Google Home informs you that your Google Account is being used with the Lynk. Tap Continue for a setup review and tutorial on using Chromecast to complete the setup.

 

Ethernet and Web UI

Step 1: Connect the device to the network using an Ethernet cable and claim the device in OvrC.

 

Step 2:Use OvrC's WebConnect feature to connect to the device's Web UI.

 

Step 3: Under IP Settings, select the desiredWireless Network and enter the password. You can also enable Manual Wirelessto manually type in the SSID and password.

 

Step 4: Click Apply, then disconnect the Ethernet connection.
