Firmware Updates

The Lynk checks for firmware updates and automatically applies them on startup to ensure it is always up to date with the latest changes from streaming providers.

If the Lynk is powered on and connected to the internet, it checks for a firmware update every four hours and applies it if audio is not currently playing.

How to manually update the firmware

Log in to the Lynk’s web interface using OvrC WebConnect or by entering the IP address into a web browser. Click the blue Update button and a popup appears to inform you if there is an available update or if the Lynk is up to date with the latest version.

If that does not work, download the firmware package on the Snap One store from the Lynk’s product page.

At the bottom of the Lynk’s web interface is a section titled Manual Firmware Update. Click the Choose File button and select the firmware package, then press the Upload button.
