Upgrade Report

Composer Pro 3.0 includes an Upgrade Advisor that creates an Upgrade Report the first time Composer Pro 3.0 is connected to system running a lower version.

Upgrade Advisor

After you connect to a system that needs to be updated to Control4 Smart Home OS 3, the Upgrade Advisor runs automatically.

After the scan, the Upgrade Advisor creates an upgrade report listing any compatibility issues. Click View Report to see the results.

Viewing the Upgrade Report

Use the Composer Pro Tools menu to view or review an OS 3 upgrade report for your Control4 system.

To view an Upgrade Report:

  1. In Composer Pro Reports menu, select the report by clicking on the project name in the Upgrade Reports list.
  1. Download or print the upgrade report by hovering the mouse over the report and clicking on the Download or Print icons on top of the window.

    2. Tip: Connect remotely to a project before meeting with the customer, run the report, and print it off so the customer can see any incompatible drivers or devices in the project.
