Program a button to turn up the volume

Use the Programming view to let you use a keypad button to turn up the volume in a room. 

Example: The example in this section uses a 6-Button Keypad for the Theater room. When you press Button 2 the volume increases in the Theater room.

Prerequisites

To program a button to turn up the volume:

  1. Start Composer Pro and connect to a Director.
  1. Click Programming.
  2. In Programming on the Device Events pane, select the 6-Button Keypad.
  3. In the 6-Button Keypad Events pane, press Button 2, and then select the Press radio button.
  4. In the Device Actions pane, select the Receiver.
  5. Click the Commands tab. In Sound, select Volume > Start > Up.
  6. Drag the green arrow in the Receiver Actions pane to the Script pane.
  7. Click Execute.
