Configure an Audio Matrix Switch
Use the System Design and Connections views to identify an Audio Matrix Switch V3 (C4-16ZAMS-V3-B) to the Control4 system. This device switches up to 16 input sources and up to 16 outputs.
Ensure that the matrix switch is installed as directed in the Audio Matrix Switch Installation and Setup Guide.

Note: You can set this device to either DHCP Client (default) or a client that uses Static IP.
To add and configure an Audio Matrix Switch:
- Install and set up the audio matrix switch and any associated hardware according to each device’s installation guide.
- To add the driver to your project and identify the device, see “How to add devices to a project.”
- Modify the properties in the Properties pane:

- Device Firmware—The firmware version of the switch. Not editable.
- Output Controls
- Audio Output—Select one of the 16 outputs to adjust settings for.
- Volume—Sets the volume for the selected output.
- Bass—Sets the Bass level for the selected output.
- Treble—Sets the Treble level for the selected output.
- Balance—Sets the L/R speaker balance for the selected output.
- Source Leveling
- Audio Input—Select one of the 16 inputs to adjust the setting for, move the slider to the desired setting, then click Set.
- Network Settings
- Use DHCP—Select this option to use DHCP, then click Apply Settings.
- Use Static IP—Select this and enter values for the IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway, then click Apply Settings.
- All Channels
- Reset Settings—Resets all channel input and output settings to factory defaults.
- Set Unity Gain—Resets the Source Leveling for all inputs to 0dB.
