Adding drivers manually

If you need to use a driver that is not included in a Composer Pro version, you can download it (from Control4 or a third-party source) and add it to your local database manually.

To add a driver manually:

1. In Composer Pro’s menu bar, click Driver, then click Add or Update Driver.
2. In the Select c4i file to add dialog box, navigate to the folder containing the driver, then select it and click Open. The driver is added to your driver database.
3. To add a device using the new driver, follow the instructions in “Using the Search tab” above.
