Adding a media service
Use the System Design view to add a music service to a Control4 system. In this example, Pandora is used, but the Media Service proxy will support additional services as drivers for them become available.
Prerequisites
- Ensure that a supported music service account has already been set up by the user.
- Ensure that the devices you want to use for Rhapsody output are added and identified to the system.
To add a media service:
- In the Items pane > My Drivers tab > Audio/Video, double-click Media Service.
The Select the Driver dialog box opens.
- Double-click the music service to add. The service is added to your project tree.
- The customer should log into their music service account in any Navigator under Settings. You can also have them log in to the service on your computer under the service device control’s Navigator tab.
- Click the driver’s Documentation tab for explanations of the Properties fields and additional information about the driver and device.
