Control4 System User Guide

Listen

What you listen to in the Control4® system depends on the audio devices attached to your system and what appears in your Navigators. Control4 provides audio services from:

Note: In OS 2.0 or later, Control4 supports non-DRM protected AAC (.m4a) codec on HC-200 and HC-300 Controllers as audio end points, but does not support audio end points (no support for Speaker Point devices or older 7" touch screen). Do not use AAC if the system has a mix of end points.

The sections below describe how to set up and listen to your favorite music.

Note: Use the Control4 system Listen or Watch icons on your Navigators to change how you listen to music or watch videos and movies through your Sony STR receivers plus access other Sony services. See Sony STR Receiver for details.
