ORLANDO, FL – March 13, 2008 – Control4 Corporation, a leader in affordable IP-based control and entertainment systems, today announced the release of a new speaker line at the 2008 EHX Show (booth #1112) that includes the Control4ฎ 6.5” and 8” In-Ceiling and In-Wall Speakers and the Control4ฎ 6.5” and 8” In-Ceiling Stereo Speakers. These new, two-way speakers further Control4’s commitment to provide its dealers, customers and retail partners with a diverse line of affordable surround sound and whole-home audio solutions.

Key features of the new line include:
• For limited spaces (e.g., master closet or small hallway), the in-ceiling stereo speaker option can be wired to deliver full, two-channel stereo sound from a single loud speaker, providing great sound quality with only one unobtrusive round ceiling grille showing
• Speakers feature dual polymer cones, silk dome tweeters, rubber surrounds, high-temperature voice coils, advanced computer optimized crossovers and simple rotating clamp mounting
• When used as surround speakers, the tweeter can be pivoted away towards the rear or sidewalls to deliver a diffuse upper midrange and high frequency creating a convincing, three-dimensional surround sound
