Control4 just announced two additions to its product line: a Power-Over-Ethernet LCD Keypad and a next-generation Control4 System Remote Control.

Control4's Power-Over-Ethernet LCD Keypad can control anything in a house from lighting schemes to security systems. The combination of 10 buttons, a jog-dial, and the large backlit LCD display makes it ideal for in-room music control with multi-room audio systems. In addition, the Power-Over-Ethernet LCD Keypad offers the same system and interface as other Control4 user interface devices, providing consistency for the homeowner.

The Control4 System Remote Control provides the ability to control any automated function in the home, freeing you from a confusing combination of multiple remote controls. The upgraded version enables one-touch access to multiple media devices, in addition to remembering the most recent settings selected. This feature allows a user to return to an environment exactly how it was left without having to re-navigate volume, lighting, and other menus. The remote also has customizable soft buttons that can be customized to control aspect ratios, lighting, or any other one-touch access you desire.

• $149 (remote), $299 (keypad)
• Available in mid-January
• Keypad has 10 buttons, jog-dial and backlit LCD
• Remote has customizable soft buttons
